Some teams of students are having difficulty turning “The Epic of Gilgamesh” handout into an outline. Don’t worry! Many of you have not done an outline until this year. My main purpose in giving you the difficult handout was I wanted to give you an example of how actual scholars have translated and summarized this important epic. For example, you will notice notes from Richard Hooker like “[line missing]”, etc. I also wanted to show you how some of the versions of the story are different or told differently. In addition, I wanted you to keep practicing about how to find the main points in a story because you will need to know how to recognize the main points in the texts you read.
Here are some internet resources provided by a student in 6A that will help you understand the Epic of Gilgamesh.

Thank you, Ricky. You earned three merit points for these excellent links. If anyone else ever finds a really good website about what we are studying, email the link or links to me and, if I post them on my blog, you will get merit points.
