Create a Handout for Your “Teacher for 10 Minutes” Project

Now that you have created your PowerPoint presentation and your notes (“cheat sheet”) for your project, you have one more thing to do.  Follow these detailed instructions carefully!

Using the “Outline” on your PowerPoint presentation, create a handout that relays the MAIN POINTS of your presentation.  Leave some key words blank so that students can fill them in during your presentation instead of them having to take notes like we have traditionally done in the past.  However, do not put too many or too little blanks in your handout–just put enough blanks for important information so that students will be adding important information in sometimes like once or twice per slide.

For a title, use the title of your presentation at the top, but, directly below your title and on the bottom of the page, make sure you clearly type:  HANDOUT MADE BY NICKNAME.  (Of course, you will put your own nickname in the place of NICKNAME.)

Do not waste space on the sheet and make sure you put important pictures on your handout as well.

You may do a one-sided handout or a two-sided handout, but do not use more than one A4 page.

Show me your handout in block one of week one.  Do not print it out until I have given you feedback!
